Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)

The Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a framework schools use to ensure every student receives the instruction and support needed to succeed. It organizes teaching and interventions so that support is matched to each student’s needs.

Through MTSS, schools provide high-quality instruction for all students, monitor student progress regularly, adjust support based on data and student response and provide additional help when needed.
